Experience and Approach
Dr. Sean Burson is from Savannah, GA and has a a diversity of experiences serving as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force, a hospice chaplain and most recently as an active duty Air Force chaplain for the last decade. He is excited to offer his skills as a therapist with Alpenglow. He believes that our stories about ourselves and others are both consciously and unconsciously forming who we are and who we want to be. He finds deep purpose in working with his clients to forge insight that leads to meaningful change.
He is fascinated with the intersection of science, soul and story and strives to partner with his clients to help guide them in the process of living a life that aligns with their values. He believes that we are not human beings trying to have a spiritual experience but rather spiritual beings trying to be human (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin). Most importantly, he prides himself in gaining the trust, relationship and alliance of his clients as he works with them through the ups and downs of life. He lives in WA with his wife and family while also serving in the Air National Guard at Fairchild Air Force Base. He is now expanding his practice through teletherapy for clients located in Washington, Idaho or Colorado.
